1. Who I Am

I deliberately keep data collection to an absolute minimum. The categories of information that may be collected are:

• Information you voluntarily provide — such as your name, contact details, business name, project description, sample content, photos, brand assets, and any other materials you share when inquiring about or working on a project.
• Communication records — messages exchanged via Facebook Messenger, email, or other channels, kept only as needed for project history and support.
• Automatic technical data — this site is hosted on Blogger (Google), which may automatically log standard information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and time spent. This is handled by Google under its own policies.
• Cookies & analytics — Blogger and any embedded third-party services (such as Google Fonts, Unsplash, and WordPress.com mShots screenshot service) may set cookies to deliver content and measure traffic.

I do not run any custom forms that store your data on this website's database. I do not sell, rent, or trade personal information under any circumstances.

3. How I Use Your Information

The information you share with me is used strictly to:

• Respond to your inquiry and discuss your project requirements.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and project plans.
• Design, build, deliver, and support your website.
• Send project-related updates (revisions, approvals, payment instructions).

4. Sharing of Information

Your information is treated as confidential. It will only be shared in the following limited cases:

• Service providers required to deliver your project — for example, your chosen domain registrar, hosting provider, or payment processor (GCash, PayMaya, bank, PayPal, Wise). Only the data necessary to complete the service is shared.
• Legal requirements — if compelled by a valid order from Philippine authorities or a court of competent jurisdiction.
• With your explicit permission — for example, displaying your finished website in my portfolio (this is optional and can be declined).

5. Third-Party Services on This Website

This site uses the following third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies:

• Blogger / Google — hosting, analytics, and cookies.
• Google Fonts — web fonts delivery.
• Unsplash — royalty-free images.
• WordPress.com mShots — live website screenshot generation for the portfolio section.

Project-related information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide ongoing support, fulfill warranty obligations, and comply with Philippine tax record-keeping requirements (currently a minimum of 3 years for invoices). After that period, records may be securely deleted upon your request.

I take reasonable precautions to protect the information you share, including the use of secured devices, encrypted communication channels (Messenger, HTTPS), and access-restricted storage. However, no method of online transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

This website and the services offered are not directed to children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact me so it can be deleted promptly.

9. Your Rights (Data Privacy Act of 2012, RA 10173)

As a data subject, you have the right to:

All prices, packages, and inclusions shown on this website are starting reference points only and are not binding offers. The final cost of any project depends on:

• The size, scope, and complexity of the requirements.
• The number of pages, features, and integrations.
• Custom design, animation, or development requests.
• Content readiness (text, photos, branding) provided by the client.
• Third-party costs such as domain, hosting, premium plugins, or paid APIs.

An accurate, formal quote is only valid once issued in writing through Facebook Messenger after a consultation. Prices, packages, and turnaround times may be revised without prior notice.

3. No Guarantee of Results

A professionally designed website is one important asset, but it is not a guarantee of business success. Online performance — including but not limited to traffic, leads, sales, conversions, search engine rankings, and social engagement — depends on many factors outside my control, including:

• The quality, freshness, and relevance of your content.
• Your ongoing marketing, advertising, and SEO efforts.
• Industry competition and market conditions.
• Pricing, customer service, and product quality.
• Algorithm changes by search engines and social platforms.

4. Technical Performance

While I build websites following modern best practices for speed, responsiveness, accessibility, and SEO-readiness, performance can also be affected by your hosting plan, domain configuration, third-party scripts, browser updates, and platform changes. Reasonable post-launch fixes are covered under lifetime support; major rebuilds caused by external platform changes may require a separate quote.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the engagement between you (the "Client") and Paps Hieronymos — Web Designer Since 2008 ("I", "me", "Designer") for any web design, development, branding, or related service offered through this website. By formally engaging my services — whether by message, email, written agreement, or by sending payment — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.

1. Project Scope & Deliverables

Before any work begins, the scope of work, list of pages or features, design references, expected timeline, and total fee are clearly discussed and confirmed via Facebook Messenger. This confirmed scope becomes the official project brief.

Anything not explicitly listed in the agreed scope is considered out of scope and will be quoted separately as an add-on. This includes, but is not limited to: extra pages, additional design rounds beyond the agreed revisions, third-party integrations, custom illustrations, copywriting, translation, photo editing, SEO campaigns, and content uploading.

2. Client Responsibilities

To keep your project moving smoothly and meet the agreed timeline, the Client agrees to:

• Provide all required content (text, images, logos, brand assets, product details, pricing, etc.) in a usable digital format within a reasonable time frame.
• Ensure that all submitted content is original or properly licensed and does not violate any third-party copyright, trademark, or privacy right.
• Communicate primarily through the official Facebook Messenger channel for traceability.
• Review drafts and respond to revision requests promptly to avoid project delays.
• Provide one (1) authorized point of contact for approvals to prevent conflicting instructions.

Excessive delays in providing content or feedback — defined as more than thirty (30) calendar days of inactivity — may result in the project being placed on hold and a reactivation fee may apply.

3. Revisions

Each project package includes a reasonable number of design and content revisions during the build phase, as discussed during the initial scoping. Revisions are intended to refine and polish the agreed design — not to redesign or pivot to a completely new direction. Major redirections after a design has been approved are treated as new work and quoted separately.

4. Payment Terms

I operate on a build-first, pay-after-approval policy:

• No upfront deposit is required for standard packages. The website is built first.
• You inspect the finished work in a private preview environment.
• Once you approve the final result, full payment is due before final launch and turnover.

Accepted payment methods (Philippines): GCash, PayMaya / Maya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, UnionBank, and other major bank transfers. International clients may pay via PayPal or Wise (transaction fees on the sender). For larger custom projects (typically above ₱30,000), a partial milestone payment may be requested in writing before work begins.

5. Turnaround & Delivery

Most standard websites are completed within 1 to 3 working days after content is received. Larger or fully custom projects may take longer, and a target date is communicated upfront. Delivery dates are best-effort estimates and may shift due to client-side delays, content readiness, or unforeseen technical factors.

6. Lifetime Support — What's Included

Every project includes free lifetime support, covering:

• Bug fixes related to the original delivered scope.
• Minor text or image edits (small content updates).
• Help with re-pointing your domain or migrating between supported hosts.
• Guidance on basic admin tasks (how to update content yourself).

Lifetime support does not include major redesigns, brand pivots, new pages, new features, ecommerce restocking, social-media management, ad campaigns, ongoing copywriting, or third-party paid services. These are quoted separately at fair, transparent rates.

7. Domain, Hosting & Third-Party Services

Domain registration and web hosting are separate services provided by independent third parties (e.g. Namecheap, GoDaddy, Hostinger, Bluehost, etc.) and are billed directly by those providers. I will gladly recommend reliable options and assist in setup, but I am not responsible for downtime, billing, or policy changes of those providers.

8. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment:

• The Client owns the final website files, design layout, and content delivered.
• Stock photography, third-party fonts, plugins, and licensed assets remain governed by their respective licenses.
• I retain the right to display the finished work in my portfolio, case studies, social media, and marketing materials, unless the Client requests otherwise in writing before launch.

Until full payment is received, all work remains my intellectual property and may not be used, copied, or republished.

9. Refunds & Cancellations

Because payment is made after delivery and approval, refunds generally do not apply. Any concerns are resolved through additional revisions until the agreed scope is fulfilled. If a project is voluntarily cancelled by the Client after work has already begun on a custom or partially-paid project, any milestone fees already paid are non-refundable as compensation for the time and effort invested.

10. Confidentiality

All non-public information you share with me — business plans, internal documents, login credentials, customer data — is treated as strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of completing your project. Login credentials should be reset after project handover for your security.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, my total liability for any claim arising from or related to a project is strictly limited to the amount actually paid by the Client for that project. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

12. Force Majeure

I shall not be held liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, power outages, internet provider failures, government-mandated lockdowns, illness, third-party platform outages (Blogger, Google, Facebook, hosting providers, etc.), or similar events.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled in the appropriate courts of the Philippines.

14. Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued engagement of services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
